
Kuwait Under-17 Cricket Squad for ACC U-17 Cup 2005 with KCA Officials and Coach
Kuwait ,City, 3 rd Aug. 05. Kuwait Under 17 cricket team left for Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to participate in ACC U17 Cup. Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) is the host organizer of the ACC U-17 Cup 2005 on behalf of Asian Cricket Council. The matches will be played in 3 venues – Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johore – in Malaysia.14 Countries ( Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Brunei, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Saudi, Singapore, Thailand & UAE) will be participating in the tournament. The Tournament commences on 5 August to end on 13 August 2005.
Each match shall be of one day’s duration and will consist of 45 overs per innings. The qualification Rules and Regulations as defined in the ICC Code of Conduct Standard Playing Conditions will be strictly followed. The cut-off date for the residential qualification is 1 st August 2005. Players born on or after 1 st July 1988 are eligible to play in the tournament.
The draw for ACC Under 17 Cup was held at the ACC Secretariat, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the presence of Mr. Syed Ashraful Huq, Chief Executive ACC, Mr. Sivanandan Chinnadurai, Hon. Secretary of Malaysian Cricket Association, Mr. Charlie Chelliah, Chairman Organizing Committee and Mr. Haridas K.K., Event Assistant. 14 Countries have confirmed their participation in the tournament.
